A Homerun Hitter...

It's been awhile since I've updated everyone on Xander. For those of you who are new to "mooretravels," Xander is my nephew who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2004...it has been quite a journey, but we have definitely seen the Lord at work.

The last time he was tested, the doctors only found a small percentage of cancer in his bone marrow. The cancer that was in other places of his body was completely gone!! So, he is continuing with chemo treatment and will go in for testing the week of April 21st. Xander and Carter just started this season of baseball on the "Lil Boomers" with my brother as the coach, and Xander started off the season with a homerun!! I am contuinually amazed and challenge by his energy and enthusiasm and his amazing parents who let him still be a kid. Ricki Lea said that it was a little sad that he was playing baseball this year with his port in, but she also reminded me, that the important part is that he still is HERE playing....
