I love weddings...and no, it it is not just because I am a girl. I love it because there are always reunions with old friends. I love it that you get to participate in one of the most significant events in a person's life...I love it that you get to see how God has brought two people together...I love that it is a great reminder that we are the Bride of Christ and that He is coming again....and okay, I do like to wear a pretty dress.
This last wedding that I went to was very special to me...I discipled Hannah when she was about 15/16 years old. The Father put us in each other's lives during a time of great growth. I got to see right before my eyes this young lady turn into a woman of God...she actually sent me a text message the day after they got married saying that they got to share Jesus with someone in the airport. What a great testimony of what her life is like....sharing Jesus.....all the time....in every circumstance....
