Brayden Lane

This past week, I learned a lot from a little boy who was only on earth 77 days. My friend's baby, Brayden, went to be with the Lord after a couple of months of fighting for his life in the NICU. As I went to the celebration service of his life, thinking that I was going to minister to the family, I found myself being comforted and challenged by the faith of Brayden's family. They challenged us with the words of George Mueller after the death of his wife...

"The Lord was good and did good:

first, in giving her to me;

second in so long leaving her to me; and

third, in taking her from me."

It is amazing to see a family experience pain and respond in this way with such an unswerving faith in the goodness of God. Thank you Brayden, Kelly, and Jason
