Last week, my students went on an extended field trip to the "Windy City"(I know, I never took a field trip like that while I was in school). It just so happens that one of my best friends live in Chicago, so I got to go spend time with my students and great friends all in one trip. Here are some of the highlights, in no particular order:
1. Figuring out my way through the city using public transportation. 
2. "People-watching" as we walked around.
3. Going to museums (Do you really need a picture?!)
4. Eating really great food (Chicago Style Pizza and Lebanese were my favorite)
5. Spending time outside of school with my students
6. Seeing Kimberly and Joeseph's house that they completely gutted and rebuilt on their own. (I can't believe I did not get a single picture of their amazing house)
7. Spending time with some of my favorite people in the world.
