The Red Carpet

I know that most of you probably caught a little bit of the "red carpet" show before the Oscars (or at least you got online to check out the dresses later), but I think there was one "celebrity" that you might have missed...

About a week ago, Xander submitted (or had them submitted for him) two pieces of art for an art show where the proceeds went to the Oklahoma Children's Cancer Association. He got all dressed up, rode in a limo and strolled down the red carpet with people taking pictures of him. His family and my parents went..and both of his pictures went for a couple of hundred dollars...The funny thing is that Xander called me at the end of the night...saying that "he had something really important to tell me..." He LOST HIS FIRST TOOTH!!! My dad said that after it happened, he said, "let's call all the people we know and tell them." So, at the end of the night, he did not want to tell me about the limo or what everyone was wearing on the red carpet, but he wanted to tell me to share in the excitement of loosing his first tooth...You have to love kids!!
