A Contagious Passion

I have officially gone to three major league ball games within this week...I believe that this is a life-time record for me. I saw the cubs in Wrigley and in Arlington, and then I watched the Rangers and the Astros. The game in Chicago was incredible because of Wrigley Field. Watching the Cubs with my brother was so much fun because of his amazing amounts of random knowledge. Did you know that the youngest guy on the Cubs team has to carry out a PINK Dora the Explora backpack to the bullpen?!

My brother also took his sons to a cubs game on Tuesday...Xander and Carter are already cheering for the cubbies at ages four and five!?! My brother is passionate about the cubs. I must admit that I am a fan because my brother is one...I grew up with the cubs always being on TV because he was watching it...we went as a family to Wrigley.....He talks about their games all the time...he knows weird facts....he almost went into depression when they did not make it to the World Series a couple of years ago...and his passion has spilled onto me and now his sons....

As I thought about this, I could not help but desire the same thing with my relationship with Christ....may my passion for Him be so great that it seeps onto others....May we love Him more because we see and have heard of others who love Him. May we know Jesus more so that His passions become our passions....so that we can pass this onto our children....and their children after that...and then after that......

I am moving to Chicago soon and cannot wait to go to a CUBS game. In fact, a friend already bought me a shirt! Seems like you have been having tons of fun!
